On April 6, 5 teams gathered together to compete to win our case competition. The teams presented ideas based on reaching out to girls for economic inclusion and development, using microfinance, microsavings, impact bonds, mobile banking, and mutual funds in the developing world. Often students overlapped in their understanding of issues (e.g. mobile banking came up as its own idea and an element of other ideas), which showed a consensus among youth on certain opportunities and issues in the contemporary development landscape.
